New Build Stone Facing

Garrigill, Cumbria

 

A new build house, stone faced using sandstone supplied from Dunhouse Quarry.

 

The uniformed stone was good to work with and gave a quality finish. With such little margin for error great care had to be taking to insure all sills, lintels and quoin stones tied in perfectly together. Slightly recessed pointing allowed the detail of the work to stand out.

 

Large boundary walls were also constructed around the property, these were built using reclaimed stone and also walling stone supplied by Alston Natural Stone.
