Drystone Effect Pillar

County Durham

A Loch Lomond stone pillar for a wood burning stove. County Durham clients Kevin and Kimberly contacted me with the idea of having their very own piece of Scotland at home in their new extension.

A design Inspired by the large stone pillars that surround Loch Lomond, they were able to purchase some of the same 'Lomond' stone for their own project.

The stone was very striking with various colours running through it, it was also a challenge to build with due to its irregular shape but the overall finish was worth the effort.
