Red Sandstone Barn Coversion

Penrith, Cumbria

 

This beautiful barn conversion near Penrith in Cumbria was built using a mixture of both red and yellow sandstone.

 

The original barn had to be taken down, then the new structure was built out of block and faced with stone.

 

One of the more challenging parts of the build was the large stone arch which came in three separate sections. Thankfully all the pieces fitted together nicely and the finished building looked great.
