Sandstone Sphere

Hexham, Northumberland

 

This bold piece was commissioned for a private home in Northumberland, it takes centre stage as you approach the property and sits well amongst the large surrounding boulders. Stone sourced from the local ‘Ladycross’ quarry was ideally suited as it was also used in the original build of the house. The sphere itself measures one meter in width and height, each stone has been individually dressed to size in order to create a smooth and uniformed finish.
