Water Feature
Adelaide, Australia
The challenge with this build was to construct an interesting shaped, self circulating water feature on a budget, the details of which were left up to me.
The thinly bedded stones were offcuts sourced from a local quarry, along with some more regular building stone.
The main cylinder was constructed around a large plastic container, built into the bank side, the thinner stone was used to build the main feature rising up out of the water. When finished, water would be pumped up through the centre of the feature before trickling out the top and back down in to the main cylinder.
Definitely an eye catcher, as the colours of the stone shine through the sparkling water, a must see on a sunny day.
